School enterprise integration and collaborative development - Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Electrical Engineering, Guangxi University led a team to visit our company

On the morning of June 2, 2022, a delegation of 12 people from the School of Electrical Engineering at Guangxi University, including Party Secretary Liang Zhijian, Professor Long Jun (former Party Secretary), and Professor Liang Jingzhang (former Party Secretary), visited Guilin Power Capacitor Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Guilin Capacitor Company") for a discussion. Wang Yi, the General Manager of Guirong Company, attended the symposium and delivered a speech. The meeting was chaired by Li Gang, the Deputy General Manager of Guirong Company. The meeting had in-depth exchanges on school enterprise industry university research cooperation, talent cultivation and practical teaching internship base cooperation, joint construction of school enterprise party building work, and alumni.  

At the symposium, Wang Yi, General Manager of Guirong Company, warmly welcomed and sincerely greeted the leaders at all levels of the School of Electrical Engineering at Guangxi University, and thanked Guangxi University for providing a large number of outstanding talents to Guirong Company all along. Wang Yi pointed out that Guangxi University has a rich cultural heritage and has cultivated a group of outstanding talents with solid basic knowledge, strong professional and technical abilities, and high comprehensive quality over the years. This year marks the 55th anniversary of the establishment of Guirong Company. As a national key power equipment manufacturing enterprise and a pioneer in the capacitor industry, Guirong Company has the largest and most advanced power capacitor research and development and manufacturing center in China. It is now a national technology innovation demonstration enterprise and has won the first prize and special prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award in 2009, 2012, and 2017. Guirong Company always adheres to the development concept that talent is the first resource. We hope to deepen cooperation and strengthen exchanges with Guangxi University in the future. We sincerely welcome outstanding graduates from Guangxi University to join Guirong Company and showcase their intelligence and talents in the field of national power equipment.  

Liang Zhijian, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Electrical Engineering at Guangxi University, expressed his gratitude for the warm reception of Guirong Company and introduced the historical origins, talent cultivation, scientific research, social services, and employment of graduates of both universities to Professor Long Jun and Professor Liang Jingzhang. He stated that the school's disciplinary and professional settings are highly compatible with the company's business scope, and the two sides have broad cooperation space. At the same time, he also hopes to take this visit and exchange as an opportunity to further strengthen cooperation in innovative talent joint training models, co building internship and training bases, and creating new models of school enterprise industry university research cooperation. He also hopes to provide more outstanding graduates for the company and help it develop with high quality.  

Subsequently, the two sides engaged in interactive discussions on issues such as scientific research cooperation, professional technology application, graduate employment, and cultural promotion. Both parties stated that they will actively create a new model of school enterprise cooperation, focusing on strengthening exchanges and cooperation in areas such as school enterprise industry university research cooperation, talent cultivation and practical teaching internship bases, and joint construction of school enterprise party building work. Together, they will contribute to the revitalization of Guangxi's industry, regional economic takeoff, and high-quality development of education, and become a model for promoting the integration of scientific research and technological advantages of universities into society, industries, and serving society.

Fifteen people attended the symposium, including Vice General Manager Yu Changyu, Chief Engineer Huang Youxiang, Deputy Chief Engineers Zhou Chunhong and Feng Chunlin, Director of Technical Research and Development Center Lin Feng, Director of Quality Management Department Huang Guifa, and alumni representatives from Guangxi University.
