Guilin Power Capacitor Co., Ltd. is a national key power equipment manufacturing enterprise and a pioneer in the capacitor industry. Our main products include power capacitors and their complete sets of equipment, transformers, reactors, dry-type capacitors, intelligent power electronic products, intelligent ring main units, etc. We are currently the largest and technologically leading research and manufacturing center for power capacitors in China. The main capacitor products range from 0.4kV to 1100kV, covering the voltage levels of all power grids in China.
2. High technical level of power capacitor products for ultra-high/extra high voltage transmission projects
Guilin Power Capacitor Co., Ltd. has conducted over 100 product and technical appraisals, of which 42 new product technical appraisals have been recognized by experts as internationally advanced and leading levels; 20 new product technologies have been identified by experts as advanced and leading in China. Participated in the construction of all currently under construction and operation ultra-high voltage engineering substations, and is the only professional capacitor manufacturer in the capacitor industry to have won the National Science and Technology Progress Award in 2009, 2012, and 2017. It is the core backbone production enterprise of various AC and DC power capacitors and other equipment for ultra-high voltage AC and DC engineering in China. The product has stable quality, excellent performance, and reliable operation, and has been widely praised by users. It has won the title of National User Satisfaction Product multiple times and has a good reputation in the market.
3. Independently developed with completely independent intellectual property rights
The company actively promotes the effective implementation of patents, utilizes its own intellectual property patents, and widely promotes the application of its products in various transmission and transformation technology fields such as 10kV high voltage~750kV ultra-high voltage, 1000kV ultra-high voltage AC, and ± 500kV ultra-high voltage~± 1100kV ultra-high voltage DC, among which it has reached the international leading level in the field of ultra-high voltage. We currently have 19 valid invention patents, 64 utility model patents, and 2 software copyright registrations.

Guilin Power Capacitor Co., Ltd. has been approved for various research and innovation platforms, including the first batch of national high-tech enterprises, Guangxi Enterprise Technology Center in 2000, Guangxi Power Capacitor Engineering Technology Research Center in 2007, Guangxi Electric Energy Governance Industry Engineering Institute in 2012, National Technology Innovation Demonstration Enterprise in 2015, Guangxi Ultra High Voltage Power Capacitor Engineering Laboratory in 2016, Guilin Ultra High Voltage Power Capacitor Key Laboratory in 2016, Postdoctoral Research Workstation in 2022, Guangxi Power Capacitor Technology Innovation Center in 2022, Guangxi Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Base in 2023, and Guangxi Innovation Consortium in 2024.
The company has a solid foundation in research and development, as well as advanced testing equipment and experimental sites. It is the only laboratory among capacitor manufacturers that can engage in full project testing, research and development testing of various types of oil immersed capacitors, metallized film capacitors, and transformer products, including main raw materials for capacitors and DC support capacitors for ± 1100kV ultra-high voltage direct current, 1000kV ultra-high voltage alternating current, and flexible direct current transmission projects. Through more than 50 years of development, it has taken the lead in solving key technologies and processes in the industry, such as UHV capacitor noise reduction technology, anti-aging additive technology, high tower seismic technology, voltage sharing and insulation technology. The overall level of manufacturing, technology, testing, and design is at the forefront of the international community.
The experimental research laboratory is currently a leading professional laboratory in the power capacitor industry, capable of conducting all dielectric performance testing and dielectric structure research simultaneously. There are high-voltage high-capacity test rooms, low-voltage high current test rooms, AC/DC durability test rooms, and DC pulse discharge multifunctional rooms built separately. It can meet the routine testing, research testing, and special testing needs of the company's existing full film and gold film product units, and its comprehensive strength ranks among the top in the domestic capacitor industry.
5. Having high-level and authoritative scientific and technological talents in China
Guilin Power Capacitor Co., Ltd. attaches great importance to the introduction and cultivation of various talents, attracting high-level talents such as Ba Gui scholars, specially appointed experts, Li Jiang scholars, hundreds of thousands of talents, and PhDs, as well as cultivating a large number of technical leaders. At present, the company has 121 engineering and technical personnel, including 21 senior engineers, 36 intermediate engineers, 28 assistant engineers, 94 technical personnel directly engaged in and participating in research and development, and 27 management and service technical personnel. High level talents include recipients of the State Council Government Special Allowance, Guangxi Specially Appointed Experts, Guilin Lijiang Scholars, Guangxi Hundred Thousand Talents, Guangxi Excellent Experts, Guangxi Excellent Engineers, State Grid Corporation of China's "Major Contribution Expert for Ultra High Voltage Engineering", Vice Chairman and Expert Committee of the National Standardization Committee (Special Committee), etc.
Having multiple members of the National Standardization Technical Committee for Power Capacitors, Transformers, Insulation Materials, and Insulation Systems; Member of the Standardization Technical Committee for the Power and Energy Industries; Member of the Professional Committee of the China Electrotechnical Society, etc. It is the main participating unit in the formulation and revision of national standards, industry standards, group standards, and power grid company standards.
